                                                             Elite Pro Street Burnout Competition Rules…

 -       All Burnout vehicles must pass Scrutineering.

-       There is a 5klm Speed Limit throughout the Brisbane International Speedway. Failure to observe the speed limit could result in disqualification and removal from the event.

-          Wheel Weights and Hubcaps must be removed.

-          Tyre Squirters ARE NOT permitted. If you are found to be in breach of this rule, 10 points will be deducted from your score.

-          Seat Belts must be worn.

-          One passenger (18 years or older) permitted during Burnout. No passengers allowed in the rear seat.

-       ALL Burnout entrants must have a 0.00 (zero) blood alcohol limit. Random breath tests will  take place throughout the event.

-          Burnouts are limited to 1 min 30 seconds. Elite Pro Street Burnout Judges will only score on the performance within the time limit.

-          Three (3) Elite Pro Street Burnout Judges will use the following judging criteria to score Burnouts:-

Instant Smoke (max 25 points)

Constant Smoke (max 25 points)

Vehicle Performance (max 25 points)

Driver Control (max 25 points)

-          Each Elite Pro Street Burnout Judge scores from a maximum 100 points attainable.

Entrant's final scores are determined using the following formula as an example:-

Judge One – 85 points

Judge Two – 89 points

Judge Three – 83 points

Judges scores combined = 257

Total Score - 257 gets divided by the three Judges to reveal the Average/Final Score = 85.6666

This example is how each Elite Pro Street Burnout entrant will be scored.

Any deductions will be taken from the entrants Average/Final Score

-          Points will be deducted for running off the pad onto the grass (- 8.5 points) and for using non-permitted Tyre Squirters  (- 10 points).

-          Your Elite Pro Street Burnout Time & Judging will start when the vehicles front wheels cross the startline.

-          You MUST obey all Elite Pro Street Burnout Officials/Marshals directions and signs AT ALL TIMES.

-          When your time is up, observe the Elite Pro Street Burnout Officials direction to cease your Burnout and exit the Pad as directed. If you choose to continue the Burnout after the time is up and ignore the Officials directions to exit, you may be disqualified.

-          The Elite Pro Street Burnout Flags mean:-

Chequered Flag – Start the Burnout

Red Flag – Stop the Burnout immediately… Time Limit is up or there is a problem with your vehicle that the Officials can see.

Fire Sign – Stop the Burnout immediately… Your vehicle is on fire. 

-          If you see a 'FIRE' sign… Stop the vehicle, Turn the ignition off, Pull the bonnet release and move away from the vehicle immediately. The experienced Elite Pro Street Burnout Fire Marshals will extinguish any fire that may require putting out.

-          All Burnout entrants will be required to wear a Helmet, Long Sleeved Shirt, Long Trousers and enclosed Footwear during the Burnout.

-          If your vehicle runs Nitrous or Methanol Fuel, you must instruct the Elite Pro Street Burnout Scrutineer.

-          There are NO extra points allocated for blowing tyres however it always impresses the crowd.

-         The Elite Pro Street Burnout Judges decision is FINAL.   

  As a Burnout Entrant, you will proceed to the left of the Elite Pro Street Burnout Official inside the gate to the Burnout Pit/Paddock Area. You will be allocated a designated Pit by an Elite Pro Street Burnout Official and they will show you where to park. Please unload your vehicle behind the Main Pit Area and park ALL tender/tow vehicles and car trailers in this area. Your Pit is for your Burnout Vehicle and Spares ONLY.
 When the Elite Pro Street Burnout Official calls you, make your way into the centre of the speedway. (refer Map Directions) Once on the grass infield, follow the Elite Pro Street Burnout Officials directions and park where instructed.  

                                                 Acceptable Behaviour…

No alcohol is to be brought into the venue and any person/s deemed to have consumed drugs or an excessive amount of alcohol will be refused entry. No weapons, animals or glass is permitted. Unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated and any such actions will result in the eviction of the entrant and/or their buddies or involved spectators with no refund. ALL Burnout entrants must have a blood alcohol limit of 0.00 (zero) and breath tests will randomly take place throughout the event.
